What guides us?
Fundamentally, we love the process of building new businesses. From conception to execution -we are passionate. We work with people we like and reflect how we like to do business. We believe in brutal honesty and strong feedback mechanisms. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and we don’t follow trends to fit in or burnish our reputations.
Sicarii
Why the name Sicarii? Sicarii refers to the Jewish zealots who would take on the Roman empire after its takeover of Judea. The meaning we take from this is persistence in the face of impossible odds. It’s cheesy, but deep down inside we all want to believe that in the face of those odds we would prevail. Things worth having never come easy. If they come easy they lack something special in that “overcoming” and so we choose this to be symbolic of what we care about cheesiness and all.
